Yesterday I got a text from my friend Amanda asking about the campfire we had planned.  What campfire?!  Ha!  She has 4 boys and had a hunch the plan Jonah made wasn’t on the up and up lol!  Campfire schemes, because, Jonah! In the end, we decided it was a great idea and went for it anyway tonight.  Luckily, I had a bag of marshmallows tucked away left over from 4th of July!  After a spring and summer of traveling similar routes since we both have cubers that went to nationals, we are all heading separate ways this weekend.  I’m not sure what our kids are going to do without each other […]

fall colored leaves

I love that the boys saw fall colored leaves on the ground and immediately ran to show me with breathless excitement, insisting we keep them on the mantel.  I get really excited about fall too, it’s my favorite season, especially when we just so happen to be in the northeast.  We lucked in to reservations in Acadia National Park this year during what will hopefully be peek fall foliage and we are all looking forward to it!

WCA Cubing Nationals day 4

WCA Cubing Nationals day 4. Zachary and I stayed home and watched the live stream. I was in pain and Z was fried from 3 long 12 hour days. He’d normally sit with friends and speed stack some cups or work on learning to cube but his broken arm put a damper on both. Plus he needed to stay home and snack today 😂 Jude had 3×3 second round and then after that it was all hanging out with friends until finals and awards tonight. Congrats to

He’s very excited about his cap and gown and diploma. These photos are a little late because the same day he graduated, he also broke his first bone. We were just about to start his ceremony and party when we had to go to the ER. It was an eventful day for sure. As homeschoolers of over a decade we’ve never done kinder graduation but I was looking through photos a few months ago and found myself […]
