I am so excited to announce that we have committed to being in Austin again this fall! I really want to be here again this year and I am thrilled to share the dates now instead of waiting when everyone’s schedule is already packed full (mine and yours)! We will be in Austin for 3 weeks in November and I have a limited number of north and central sessions during that window. You can see the available spaces here. I will update availability as clients book. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, it just means the world to me! I can’t wait to see all my favorite families again this year!
Today was such a gorgeous day, it feels like spring here in Texas, not the dead of winter. Blue skies, 74 degrees and a cool breeze. Perfect! The kids and I spent the entire day outside. We only came in to eat so Jason could have a lot of quiet time for meetings, work and an interview. Once he was done for the day we threw dinner in the instant pot and hit the lake with the kayak my mom bought the kids last summer. She bought it right before Jonah broke his arm for the first time. Being in a cast we avoided most water outings. Taryn and Jude asked to take it out tonight and it was super easy since we are staying nearby. It was the perfect night for it and I’m happy to report they both did great, neither one tipped over!
When he jumped out of the car in his sneakers, suspenders and heart shirt I immediately noticed how happy my little photog heart was! Swoon!
Zachary got a Marvel Memory Game for Christmas and he is obsessed with it. It helps that Jude asks him to play it (of his own free will – ha!) several times a day. Z is so good at it! I think Jude has only beat him one time in the last month! And yet there was still a little drama when he flipped over the wrong card this morning haha!
The weather was completely gorgeous today. At 5 pm we decided to have a fire pit dinner. Jude and I ran to the store for essential fire pit food, Jason’s brother picked up firewood on his way over. It was gorgeous outside but once the sun set it was pretty chilly, perfect night for a fire. I love the feeling of warm knees when the rest of your body is cold, roasting marshmallows and stargazing. It was a good end to a very chaotic and draining week.
You wouldn’t know it by our photos but we are currently staying on the lake. It’s gorgeous here. I have to remind myself to photograph it since we have been here a million times. Side effect of 2 years on the road I suppose. New places tend to be a bit more inspiring.
