Remember this?

I love the wordle site but wished I could print a great big one at full resolution for my house (we have it printed and it is gorgeous, but haven’t hung it up yet).  I am working on one for my friends nursery and I thought I’d come back and share the template.  So here is the deal….

  • Should work in all versions of photoshop, created in CS4.
  • Consists of an unflattened .psd file.  Each word is its own layer.
  • Sized big at 15×30 and 300 dpi, but you can easily resize it for printing purposes.  Leave the dpi at 300 though for best results.
  • Just change the words to your own.  You […]

1.  I caught this the other day when I arrived at this location a little early.

2.  This is amazing.  Anne shared this with me and it says so much.  He articulates so much about how I feel about photography.  Seeing not just the light, but the light in people.  Finding yourself in your work, recognizing your vision, being open, seeing and embracing what is around you instead of trying to make it perfect, giving of yourself and celebrating what is right.  It’s 20 minutes long, but by far the best 20 minutes I’ve spent on the web in quite a while.  Worth it.

3.  I love this.

4.  We’ve […]

where do i start?  i’m not quite sure how to articulate my experience with this family this morning.  being at a loss for words is not something i normally struggle with ((insert my husband throwing out an amen here – ha!))

a few weeks ago i was have a rough day.  i had made a decision that was not easy for me to make, but it was with my family at heart.  i believe i was judged unfairly and some people had some harsh and untrue things to say.  wallowing in it a bit, i sat at my computer feeling down.  i was surfing the web and came across a story about a family from dallas.  a family that has overcome […]

Teagan has taken us on quite a wild ride with his hair.  He was born with some, not tons, but some.  Then it fell out.  Then much to our surprise (since Taryn was bald for sooooo long), a bunch of fuzz popped up.  Little dude had an all natural mohawk.  We embraced it, it is just soooooo him.  Such a juxtaposition, sweet lovey little baby, rock star hair.  We’ve been talking for awhile about getting it cut, it was getting so long in the front, growing out and little strays were coming down into his eyes.  Let me just say here that I never dreamed I’d be a mom who would give their baby a mohawk.  And I will openly […]
