So very Austin
When one of my favorite families asks for a session filled with Austin gems, I jump in! They’ve wanted to do this for quite awhile and I’m so happy we made it happen!! We jumped from spot to spot and had a blast!

This first photo! Hands down my most all time favorite mom of teens photo! I so very much want one like this with my teens. If you have teenagers at home, you understand. Their oldest, Josie, is a senior and will be leaving the nest soon. Unbelievable since I really feel like she was just a toddler welcoming new brothers to the mix. Also, since we are walking down memory lane…I still see this so clearly in Jennifer and her mothering. What an honor to witness and capture.
I have been walking down memory lane with all this blogging and man, their story and sessions (too many to link but definitely click here, here, here and here) make me weepy every time. There was a time I said I could see their future photographs and here they are. Always a beautiful reminder that there are miracles walking among us every day! I adore y’all W family!
This fall I had a few reschedules mostly because teens are busy with their own lives and clients need to move things last minute. No biggie! I was so excited when a last minute change made room for this session! They first hired me to photograph the birth of their oldest. I have followed their adventures in parenting, travels (they take their kids on some awesome adventures), and photography, these parents can hold their own with the camera, I am always impressed! I felt like I knew the whole crew when we met again! H family thanks for grabbing this last minute spot, I had a blast seeing y’all again!
How this was 13 years ago, I have no idea! Then Jake was born and this newborn session feels like yesterday and a million years ago. And then he was 6 months old, then the session we laughed the entire time! Time is so weird and a little cruel! I love love love that Colleen wore the same red shoes she wore in our first session together. A tiny little detail that adds so much meaning! How do those tiny little babies now look like grown men?! Don’t blink!
A little bit of drama and a little bit of sweetness!
