My schedule went wonky this week.  Not just a little wonky, a lot wonky.  But sometimes wonky works out great.  Both of my clients for today and Sunday were moved to different days at their request so that left me with two openings this weekend.  I threw them up on the blog/facebook and they went quick (yay!).

Some of you may know this beautiful lady, I know quite a few of my clients will recognize her….Katie Astoria of Modern Muse Makeup Artistry.  Katie has rocked my makeup for photos several times in the past and the makeup of quite a few of my clients.  I highly recommend her!  Oh and get this, she just won a GOLDEN BOOT during

I’m going to give the concept of “catching up” the old college try.  These photos have long been delivered but still sitting in my “need to blog” pile.  Since the kiddos are about to leave for college, I thought I’d go ahead and post them…..KIDDING!  It’s not quite that bad, I think these were actually taken in early May…

I love this series, she is so cute!  I know I’ve mentioned this before Michelle and I were in the same hospital just a few rooms away having this little beauty and Teagan just a day or so apart.  We’d never met at that […]

I’m going to do something tonight I’ve never done before.  Usually sweet, thoughtful, emotion filled notes from my clients are kept private.  Every now and then I’ll share one with my husband, but that is usually the extent of it.  Some are hand written, some are sent via email, some make me cry, some get filed into a happy folder that I go back and read often when I’m feeling tired or burned out, some get printed out and hung above my desk.  One from the father-in-law of Alex Laynor is framed and holds it’s place in my heart as one of my most valued possessions.  I love these happy notes of excitement, appreciation and ultimate expression of love […]

A project I have been thinking about for a long time came to fruition this morning with one of my favorite families in Austin.  I’ll be back to share more as it takes shape over the coming weeks….

The Birth of Maddie Rose is by far, the most viewed birth experiences that I’ve ever posted.  Last June it had been hit 7,700 times according to my stats.  I got word from quite a few people last fall that the slideshow made the rounds on facebook and other social medias and it was embraced by several birth professionals from across the country and shared being cited as real, emotive and a […]

I have a soft spot in my heart for families of 5 with 3 little kiddos.  And this momma, wow, this momma has it all under control and makes it look easy with 3, 2 & under.  Yes, you read that right.  And she’s cool, calm & collected.  And even sane!  If raising 3 little ones wasn’t enough, she also raises money for the March of Dimes.  I’m telling you, she’s hiding a super mom cape under there somewhere, I just know it….

And these two little cuties, Mason & Wyatt, are just the happiest little guys ever.  AND, get this!  Just today, they found out that they landed a part […]
