With all of this talk of cancer research and MD Anderson and kicking cancer to the curb, Alex has been on my mind a lot.  I know many of you were touched by his family and their story, so I wanted to post an update with his permission.  Alex celebrated his birthday on the 4th and I left him a happy birthday message.  I was so, so sad to hear the news that cancer has spread to his liver and he has started another round of treatment.  I know they can use all the prayers we can possibly send their way as he fights for his life.  So if you are the praying kind, please keep Alex, Danielle, Lexi and Austin in your prayers.  I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them this week.  They are such a beautiful family and meeting them changed me.  I’ve said it before, but they truly did.  They changed me personally and professionally.  The letter I received from Danielle’s father after their session will remain one of my most cherished possessions (if you can call it that).  It means the world to me, truly.  Alex LIVES, and CELEBRATES and APPRECIATES.  He’s inspiring to so many.  You can view the slideshow that we did from his session that tells his story by clicking here:  MY NAME IS ALEX.  And a few images from their session earlier this year….
