And I want to share this too….I was super impressed and excited that they already had their maternity photos up on display! I LOVE seeing how people use their photos!!

The beautiful Miss Joan had her official newborn session this afternoon. I’m still working on her birth photos but wanted to pop in and share a few we caught this morning. At 11 days, she’s just a dream. Her mommy told me she’s a snuggle bug and boy is she right!

I wanted to come back and share more from this little one’s sneak peek. This little man is just so adorable and I’ve looked forward to meeting him for a really long time. I photographed his mommy and daddy last year when they were celebrating their marriage and life together. You might also recognize them from the scrolling header at the top of my blog! It was such a joy to walk through their front door and see them as parents. Cool, calm and collected parents who are madly in love with each other and their little guy…..

When I started blogging, it was about my family. Documenting a photo a day, just the ins and outs of our little family of (then) 4. Eventually, Giggles – n – Grins was born and I started throwing in blog posts about the sessions I did with clients. I chronicled our days after Katrina, rebuilding and eventually, moving to Austin and opening Life in Motion. Somewhere in the middle, right after we announced we were moving to Austin, I got an email from a blog reader, they were moving to Austin soon too. Ahhh, how cute is she?!? And I love her outfit 😉 She was probably my most awake newborn to date, but just look how gorgeous she is, I didn’t mind a bit!
