This little guy decided to surprise his mommy and daddy by arriving a little early. We just barely got in their maternity session! He did soooo good at his newborn session today, very chill and he had some of the cutest and funniest faces I’ve ever seen on a newborn. Congrats D & G!!

I think with Teagan’s 2nd birthday quickly approaching in a few weeks I’ve been a bit nostalgic. How is my ‘baby’ two already…wasn’t he just all tiny and new?! I’ve been meaning to come back and share a few more photos of sweet William. He gave me a run for my money the day of our session, he pretty much just wanted to hang out with his mommy (who can blame him though, isn’t that what babies are supposed to do?!), but we got him!

If there is one thing that everyone who meets William notices, it is his eyelashes. By far the most long and beautiful I have ever seen on a 4 day old baby! They made me swoon….

I love love love curly toes!

I just finished their gallery last night and while this wasn’t the shot I intended when I clicked the shutter, as I thumbed through their proofs, it struck me right away. The way she’s looking at him gets me. I remember that feeling so strongly….those early days where you fall in love with your husband in a new way you never even imagined or dreamed that you would….seeing him as a father. It’s just one of the heart swelling moments that come along with being a new mom. As if having a new baby wasn’t blessing enough, you get this other whole new person to love too, the daddy….
