My 3rd and final session of the day was one of my favorite families in the whole entire world. i have several thoughts….

1. They are beautiful individuals, every last one of them. But when you put all 4 of them together, beautiful just doesn’t cover it. 2. I’ve been looking forward to this session for soooo long (July I think?!). Little man just turned one and it was the perfect time to celebrate and capture some photos of their adorable family. He is so cute, very busy, walking running like a champ and all boy! I love this family shot, Austin is such an amazing city and I feel so lucky to live here. I shot this after dusk (f/1.2!)…

The beautiful Miss Joan had her official newborn session this afternoon. I’m still working on her birth photos but wanted to pop in and share a few we caught this morning. At 11 days, she’s just a dream. Her mommy told me she’s a snuggle bug and boy is she right!

Love this family. Love them. I love documenting a birth for a family, because it ties me to them. I cannot believe how much the kids have grown, how big and beautiful Lucy is. Her birth seems like it just happened yesterday. So many wonderful things, both professionally and personally have come my way because of these beautiful people….they are all kind and warm and just so genuine. I love that. I absolutely love this session, I had a hard time figuring out what to share. Jane is so sweet and bright. She’s filled with a million expressions and just such a happy girl. I was so hoping to capture that during our first session of many in the year to come.
