I decided to take a break from the massive amount of work I’ve been doing and all the baby preparations to take the family to the movies tonight. It will be a welcome break. Finding Nemo 3D here we come!
My schedule for the next few weeks got all flipped around due to some family schedule changes. I now have 3 openings for full sessions between now and the first week of February. sweet jane totally stole my heart this morning. like a big breath of fresh air, so bright, happy and curious. i’m feeling very blessed to get to watch her grow over the next year. jane is about to be a big sister and i’ll be capturing a year full of memories for her family, from the birth of their to new baby all the way to the first birthday. and i simply can’t wait.

So, T’s birthday was last month. And no, I haven’t taken any birthday shots of her yet. I had big plans to, but other things came up. Then we went out of town, came home sick, her surgery is coming up and it just seems unfair to drag her out when she isn’t feeling well. Sooooo….these will serve as her birthday photos. And I’m ok with that. I’ve dreamed of these photos for over a year. My mom bought this suit for her last spring, I saved it and horded it away until it was time for us to go to the beach last summer. Rounding out the Slidell mini sessions is my little buddy Aiden. I’ve been photographing Aiden since he was a tiny little baby. I don’t think I blogged his newborn session, I couldn’t find it, but here he is at 6 months and then his mini last year. I was so thrilled when they booked a mini during my trip back to Louisiana. Always animated, always cute, but I was not ready to have the tables turned on me right out of the gate!! He’s pretty good too!!!
Uh, let me just go ahead and say this now so we can move on. I LOVE HIS HAIR. LOVE IT.
