We made it. 10 days, several states, tons of fun, family parties, the beach, wonderful memories made. We are so thankful for the time we spent together as a family. And after a very long day of travel, we are now home. I miss my mom like crazy already. Goodbye days are the hardest. But we will be glad to be in our own beds tonight.

We came home to VERY full inboxes and my voicemail was full, so I apologize if you tried to leave me a message and it didn’t let you! If you tried and couldn’t leave a message, please try me again, I’m here now! I will be returning emails and phone messages over the next few days, so please hang in there as I try to catch up and get back to reality!!

Lots of photos coming this week! All those Slidell mini sessions, more of Jodie and her family and I have tons and tons of vacation pics to sort through!

But right now, I’m going to veg on the couch and watch FOOTBALL! Yes, football is back and I’m thrilled! Not just for the sport, but for the idea that eventually fall will be here and it WILL cool off to something below 100 degrees. Someday. Maybe.
