Since our garage sale was canceled today (rain, ugh!), I have been trying to catch up on a lot of other lingering little things on my to do list inbetween editing my first session of 2011 and chasing kids…..

I’ve had quite a few inquiries in the past few weeks about whether my mentoring through The Birth Experience will continue. It was initially planned to end on February 1, 2011. I have no intentions of the program ending, I have loved it. So, yes, I am still available for birth photography mentoring for those who wish to grow this area of their business and I am super excited about it! The forum and mentoring will remain open until at least February 1, 2012. New members are welcome to join and can do so here. All current members will remain active for another year. We may move it to a new host/server but it isn’t ending by any means. We’ve had several new members in the last few weeks and we are also planning the get together for a weekend of fun, shooting and talking shop for all those members who wish to join us here in Austin on February 26th.

Also, if you are new here you may not realize that I am the founder of The International Association of Professional Birth Photographers at birthphotographers.com. I don’t mention it very often but I am so proud of my little association, it has grown by leaps and bounds. In just a few short months we went from a handful of photographers to right at 155 birth photographers from around the world and that number grows almost daily. Expecting parents far and wide are finding the right birth photographer for them and memories and births are being captured! It is truly so inspiring to me!
