Meet Ethan, he’s the most cooperative almost two year old I have ever met. So easy going and super cute! His family traveled from College Station, Texas for a session and I’m so glad that they did. It was a gorgeous day and they picked a fabulous location for the shoot, we started out on St. Charles Avenue at Tulane University and then went across the street to Audubon Park. I loved the location and can’t wait to use it again. It seems like every other house on St. Charles could easily be described as a mansion, ok, maybe not, but darn close. And doors, oh the architecture and doors, I’d love to take Ty down there and just shoot in front of some of those doors! Is trespassing ok in the name of art??? Please say yes!

I was also lucky enough to have an assistant for the day. Amy is a local girl who loves photography and wants to learn everything she can. She was great, she helped me out and shot some images of her own. I can’t wait to see what she captured, I love seeing other peoples perspective, especially when I was there too! It was so nice to have her there – thank you Amy!!!

Then after the session Jason brought the Taryn, Ty and Ty’s friend Cade and we went down the street to the Audubon Zoo. It was the perfect day for it and we all had a blast. We’re all sunburned and exhausted but today was a good day!

To Ethan and his Mommy & Daddy – thank you for making the trip over here, it was a pleasure to meet you all. I hope you guys had a safe and easy trip back, I know it’s a loooooonnngg ride with a toddler! Here is the teaser I promised you….
