We ate outside and snuck in a quick campfire tonight before the rain came in. This spot was amazing and we wish we could stay longer, but tonight is our last night in Colorado until we return in October. We are off to Utah first thing in the morning.

We moved! The truck is finally fixed and we are back on the road. So thankful! And this view in our new campground is a total bonus! Two nights only and then we are off to Utah.

Sometimes fulltime RV life looks like this. Being stuck for 2 weeks, no running vehicle, no adventures and an extra $6300 out of pocket in the last month alone. Praying we have finally fixed the issues and we can get back on the road tomorrow evening.

North Yellowstone

We have officially fallen in love with north Yellowstone. Goodness, this spot feels unreal and we can’t believe we get to live here for the next week!! We stayed in West Yellowstone in 2018 and loved it for accessibility to what we wanted to see on that first visit. This trip we decided to choose between Cody and Gardiner. Gardiner is so charming and we can see Roosevelt Arch from our campground. Excited to hit Norris Basin tomorrow and explore all week long.

Today was hard. We found out that my former father-in-law, Ty’s grandpa, passed away. We knew it was coming as he was removed from life support yesterday. It’s just a very sad situation. It feels like a lifetime ago that he was a part of my daily life. He was there for us during some really hard, difficult, times. He absolutely adored Ty and his older sister. Moments after we found out about Nathan, we broke down while moving from our rustic mountain spot to a nearby resort. We had to be towed 0.5 miles at a cost of $350 😣 They used a chain pull since we were towing the RV. […]

Viral vaccine induced demyelination recovery

Today marks 10 years since his severe vaccine injury. It’s crazy for me to even type that out. That it’s been so long….that he’s recovered and healthy. He beat the odds. It’s hard to see friends we made during that time living very differently because they didn’t recover. It’s heartbreaking and the sheer luck of it all is never lost on me. We were very blessed by the people placed in his life to bring healing. Every odd was stacked against him. We worked our butts off, he worked so hard, fought through the pain. He is living proof, recovery IS possible. There is hope! If your child is suffering from an […]
