About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! While rolling through town…

After spending 3 months in south Texas to be near Jason’s parents for a season, I promised Taryn’s bestie we would hit our storage unit in Austin before leaving Texas to grab something for her.  While rolling through town I took a few sessions and I am SO happy that I did!  It’s been awhile since I have photographed this crew and they have added their sweet, spunky, girl to the family!  This mom is usually behind the camera so we did extra with her and the kids, I love it when moms hire me and are intentional about getting in the photos!  Nichole is an incredible animator, check her out!  My kids love her coloring books!

My sweet friend Sarah is an amazing photographer herself so I was super honored when she reached out about hiring me to do a session at their beach house in Port Aransas, Texas.  We had so much fun shooting at the house then taking the golf cart down to the beach!  I loved meeting the boys, I feel like I have watched them grow up online.  You can actually rent this property in Cinnamon Shores (you should, it is stunning).  Check it out here and here.  Thanks for trusting me with capturing your memories Sarah and Kenny!

Our Marriage Testimony

This is actually the short version of our marriage testimony…

One year ago Jason and I sat on a park bench in Texas, trying to decide if we could stay married. It wasn’t a fight. It was two sad, frustrated people facing what felt like failure. We’ve been through a lot of trauma together, the highest of highs, the lowest of lows. We’ve had many happy days in our marriage, we do love each other. And there has also always been a disconnect and imbalance between us. I wanted….more. For the longest time, I couldn’t put a […]
