A big thank you to Anne Marie who is allowing me to share this. I can’t say it enough, amazing experience I’ll never forget.

It was a technical challenge, a room with no windows and two small lights on a dimmer with the occasional spotlight during delivery and in the baby warmer. I used my speedlight for a few, but tried not to, as it just wasn’t catching the feel of the moment, it was quiet and dark and I hope these images capture that.
I just realized I never posted her maternity session, if you guys want to check it out you can see it HERE. We did it in two parts, one at home for some more traditional stuff and then we met up with the kids at the park another day for some casual outside shots. And I have to tell y’all, this is another reason I love living in Austin, friends who dig photography as much as I do!
Wow, I never post entire sessions, usually just a few faves here and there, but there I go posting two entire sessions in one little ole post!
oh my gosh- you did such an awesome job. Talk about capturing the moment. Wow- you are so so talented.
Breathtaking!
Lyndsay, what an absolutely beautiful gift you have. So peaceful and breath taking. What a wonderful memory for your friends.
Oh.my.goodness. The Birth of Calla slideshow has got to be one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. I remember seeing some of your first posts on two peas, and I have followed your blog for a long time now, but you have outdone yourself on that one. Every shot, I could put myself there, and it brought back memories I didn’t even think I had of my own daughter’s birth.
Congrats to the Tucker family. Your children are beautiful, and what a blessing to have such a wonderful documentation of such a special day.
Wow..just wow wow wow…I’m a blubbering fool over here right now…maybe it’s my pregnancy hormones getting the best of me, but those were some of the most amazing shots I have ever seen…you captured each & every emotion…I love all the detail shots…awesome job Lindsay & happy holidays to you & your family…hope you’re feeling well!
Oh my goodness – those images are amazing, unreal. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing those, and congrats to the beautiful Tucker family. The emotion is so real, so raw. What a special documentation of an amazing event.

WOW Lyndsay, that was just beautiful. You are totally making me reconsider my husband only in delivery room policy. Can you please please come to Seattle and photograph my labor and delivery.
Lyndsay, I know that I post a lot on this blog and make comments about how wonderful you are, but like another poster said, you’ve truly outdone yourself. You have an amazing connection and relatioship with your camera. In this slideshow of Calla, you made the event come alive in pictures… I’m speechless. You captured all of the right details. You captured the right mood. You even chose the perfect music! I hope you consider doing birth photography as a regular thing. I’m sure it was exhausting for you, but I hope you see the outcome and are assured that it was worth it!
Wow – that’s just about all I can say – just WOW!!!
Wow. What a special gift for this family. This was amazing. Excellent job.
That was amazing! I am sure she is going to LOVE them all. What a way to capture the moments of your babies beginning. Great Job, like always of course!
That was incredible, quite impressive. I loved every picture and I’m sure the family is beyond pleased!!
Wow Lyndsay. I am a huge fan of yours and I’ve seen you come a long way. You are such an inspiration to me. You push me to keep working at this thing I do with my camera and you teach me to use my heart while doing it. And I’m always impressed by your most recent work, but this just blows me away. The raw emotion that you captured is so beautiful. You brought so many memories of my own to mind as I watched the birth slideshow. And all the details… You truly did an awesome job. How lucky these parents are (and child is) to have this.
Lindsay – that was amazing! I hardly ever leave a comment but that slideshow really compelled me to, it brought tears to my eyes. You’ll have to fly down here for our next birth!
Wow. Just Wow.
Lyndsey, I remember back when you got your Nikon and started toying with different lighting and doing little impromptu photoshoots with you kids. You were a natural…obviously! Look at how far youve come! These are some of the most beautiful, touching, emotional photos Ive ever seen! I felt like I was reliving my own birthing experience…and like someone else commented, it brought back memories I had forgotten all about.
You should be so proud of yourself 🙂
Ive never heard of hiring a photographer for a birth…maybe you’ll start a new trend 😉
amazing! Absolutely incredible photos.
Wonderful! I’m not a person normally moved to tears, and I was! These are super emotional, super detailed images! They are photographs with a clear vision, and when I watched them I FELT like I was there. What a treasure for her to have! I loved watching these. I lurk on your blog daily. And I’m so glad!
oh.my.goodness.
That…. was just…. perfect. I cried! What a lucky woman to have these memories… they brought back so MANY for me =)
Amazing. Absolutely amazing.. I am sitting here w/ tears streaming down my face. You could not have captured the emotion, the joy, the “realness” of such an incredible moment in life… Thank you for sharing.. it made my night =)
