Sorry for the lack of regular posts around here. Every spare moment has been spent proofing and just when I catch my breathe a little bit, another weekend full of shooting and amazing clients arrives. Today we celebrated his 31st birthday. I met him when he was 24. We were next door neighbors. I still remember the first moment I saw him, I was standing in my living room and he walked out his front door towards his truck. I just stood there, and watched him. right after this he got scooped up for a little extra lovin’….looking at these now i just want to give him a hug, poor little guy. i’m so mean, but these are my faves. it’s not just a tag line people, real life is worth photographing!! 😉
LOL! I love these shirts, they crack me up. I think we buy them in the beginning to show there is a baby in there in a funny, sort of obvious way, but by the end of your pregnancy, it’s more like an order!
cute, cute, cute maternity/family session today…is she a doll or what? by the end of our session, she grabbed my hand and we walked back towards our cars together. i even got a little kiss on the cheek…she totally stole my heart.

my very first Austin urban couples session….and it was a blast! cristina first contacted me and we talked about doing a couples session because they weren’t thrilled with their wedding photos. i could immediately relate to that. in fact, we only have one hanging in our home, so i know the sadness that comes with that disappointment. i’m so glad they decided to do this session as a way to make up for it, a way to capture them as they are, young and in love, pretty close to the beginning of their journey. i have been really excited about this session because i wanted to give them something special, i wanted them to be excited about their new photos, […]
