365 Project: Sleepover at Gee’s

When my mom built her beach house years ago, she envisioned sleepovers and little kid giggles drifting through the house. Tonight was the night. Jason painted the interior of our RV today and we are escaping the fumes with a sleepover. Z did not want me up in the loft at all. I finally suggested he climb up and snuggle with Jude. That worked, he cuddled up and went right to sleep. Jude loved every second of it. 🥰 If you’ve followed our instagram stories you know we’ve been having sleep issues. 🤞🏻 tonight goes ok!

Road Trip

When Zachary woke up this morning I told him that we (along with Jude and my mom) were going to drive to Mobile to go to a craft fair. He was SO excited, he jumped up, ran out of the room yelling “MY GOING ON A ROADTRIP! WITH JUDE! MY NEED TO FIND MY BACKPACK!” Y’all he is obsessed with his best friend Jude 🥰 so a day of fun with him was so exciting! Z was so good today! He’s not really ever the easy kid in the room, so a day of easy means a lot and I need to brag on him.

365 Project: Order of business

Visiting family and the first order of business is a swim in the big tub! We use a Torkis IKEA bucket to give this kiddo a bath in the RV and he loves it. But it sure is fun to explore a big tub every now and then too!

Before we left Texas we packed up all the boys toys. We are moving really fast, every 3 days, to get where we need to be before Jason’s first day on the new job. And we are just tired of picking them up all the time. Zachary is in a phase where he drags everything out and throws things everywhere. No toys has been glorious! For several reasons….first less to clean. Second, they are spending more time with our bin of books and reading. Third, we have seen so much more imaginative play happening.
