1. We spent the boys birthdays at Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Texas. I’ll dedicate a different blog post to our adventures but I have say now, we loved it so much!

New job means the freedom for new adventures! This crew is back and ready! We are excited for all the 2020 adventures ahead, I’ve already jumped in to planning. We haven’t been out on many adventures the last 4 months. We are SO excited to get back out there again. First up, hiking at Dinosaur Valley State Park!

12! Can you believe it?! I cannot. He is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He’s kind and filled with empathy. He’s like a sponge absorbing everything around him. He teaches me at least one new thing every single day. Sometimes I wonder who is teaching who in this whole homeschool / roadschool thing. I’ve decided that means Jason and I have done a good job since he has learned how to learn….isn’t that the whole point?! To ignite a love and lifetime of learning? 1. Last week was completely bonkers. Every single day had 5 or more things going on. Good things, new opportunities, new SEO clients for Seriously SEO, multiple job interviews for Jason and more. This week is so much more quiet and we feel like we can breathe a little easier. I’m not sure how we got through last week but we did it!

2. This week is a big one for Liz (she bought IAPBP from us last June). She launched the new birthphotographers.com website today and it looks AMAZING! Such a huge and much needed improvement! It’s so amazing that we get to watch IAPBP receive all the love and attention it deserves. And […]

Jude is almost 12 and we are in this window of time where things are changing. He’s not a little boy who plays as much as he used to. He still does, he joins in with the little boys sometimes, he plays imaginary games, like pretending with Z to kayak off a waterfall (see my Insta stories for that photo). 365: Kayaking on Lake Georgetown

Today was such a gorgeous day, it feels like spring here in Texas, not the dead of winter. Blue skies, 74 degrees and a cool breeze. Perfect! The kids and I spent the entire day outside. We only came in to eat so Jason could have a lot of quiet time for meetings, work and an interview. Once he was done for the day we threw dinner in the instant pot and hit the lake with the kayak my mom bought the kids last summer. She bought it right before Jonah broke his arm for the first time.
