Gosh this is one of my new favorite photos. I wanted to include it in my 366 but I took it on the 5th and had to have the photo of Jason and Taryn going to their last daddy daughter dance. I had to come post it though….

After school doghouse building. Getting them to work together is always a success.

Daddy Daughter Dance. She declared this the last year…bittersweet.

Those freckles though. Crochet all the time. She’s now mastered the granny square.

Her Great Grandmother taught her how to crochet over Christmas. She’s loving it and even insists on crocheting before bed because it relaxes her. Her first project is a blanket for Jonah. Swoon.

You know who Erin Hensley is right? If not, you should look her up, amazing! Anyway, she does monthly challenges for capturing different kinds of light. This months challenge is quiet light. I’m so drawn to this challenge. With 4 kids ages 18-3, quiet can be….hard to see at times. It’s much easier to spot the chaos. I had to seek it out today (outside of the house and away from the 3 boys). Quiet light…..it’s all about photographing what something feels like, instead of only what it looks like. I love that part of photography, it totally draws me in.
