We absolutely loved our stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. One thing we read early in planning was to allow for extra time to just hang out at the Fort. I’m so glad we did this because there is so much to do and enjoy! We hit the parks every other day.  One of our “down” days included an experience gift from Christmas for Taryn, horseback riding at Tri-Circle-D Ranch inside the Fort!  It was so much fun!

Jonah wasn’t tall enough to join the big kids on horseback riding on the trails, but he was big enough to ride the ponies. He loved it!

One of the coolest things we’ve done yet. I really wanted to book a stay at the manatee state park but it was fully booked months ago. We were thrilled to find this place just a few minutes from our campground. The kids absolutely loved it, such a neat experience!

See the babies?! They were so cute! I wasn’t sure if the kids would like this adventure or think it was boring but we all had a blast. Manatees seek warm water and take refuge inland […]

If we land next to the camp bathroom, not so much.

Winter weather is kicking out butts

Today was a day. We left Alabama fairly early (for us). But it took us forever to find a gas station we could fit in to, then we had to stop to feed Z, then I got sick so we had to stop again. I felt awful, I thought I was going to pass out getting out of the truck heading to the RV after I begged Jason to pull over. I rallied after getting sick, took some bentonite clay I had tucked away and 30 minutes later I was good as new. But then we had to stop again because Z hates being in the car seat past 4:30 pm and […]
