Several months ago I asked in instagram stories if anyone I know has returned to an old school way of storing recipes. I’ve grown more and more frustrated with trying to find our favorite recipes online, Pinterest posts that are dead links because bloggers quit hosting their site, unorganized notes, bookmarks, recipes in my head I have to share out loud if anyone else is cooking. So frustrating. I want to not only make our day to day life easier so we all have our favorites in one place, I want to hand down our food traditions to our kids. Travel day from Pennsylvania to New York today. Upon arrival we had just enough time for a game of Skip-Bo while dinner was heating up. Just me and the 3 boys while Jason and Taryn went out to get diesel. Another long day tomorrow as we head back to Maine.

Yesterday I posted a rainbow in the sky. Today, a rainbow for our bellies. 🥰 The kids have been begging for Nancy’s Sky Garden but we are currently 1,500 miles away. So today Taryn and I did our best to recreate it. Mango chicken was pretty close. Almond, garlic, ginger dressing not so much but it was still pretty good. All 6 of us cleared our plates so I’m counting it as a win!
