Boondocking in the wild

We survived our first night in the wild boondocking. It wasn’t easy getting to our spot and nerves were definitely on edge. Let’s just say words were exchanged between husband and wife. 🤣 RV friends, have you ever had to say “Sorry for the things I said while backing up the camper”??

How hard I’ve failed

2021-05-14T18:25:14-05:00July 15th, 2020|My Family, Lyndsay, PPD, PTSD, RV Life|

One of the hardest parts of PPD is feeling incapable. Learning something new? Feels impossible. That’s like torture for a creative. Being unable and paralyzed when it comes to trying something new. Since we launched in to fulltime travel almost 3 years ago, I’ve tried to learn night photography probably 6 times. Jason would see the struggle and help each and every time. I just couldn’t do it. Tonight, when I peeked out after getting Zachary to bed, I was able to see the Milky Way with a blind eye! I’ve never once seen it without a telescope. So, I decided to try again. […]

We love it here

We will be sad to say goodbye when we head to Idaho this weekend.

He didn’t care, he was totally giddy just to see the outside and sit on the same bench as Troy and Gabriella. The funny part is that this will probably be the only photo of Jude that I have outside a public school. 😂 This kid loves roadschool learning so much, I can’t imagine him in public. But I’m super thankful for the movie that inspired him to learn guitar. I lost track how many times he watched this movie series during […]

Great Salt Lake

2021-04-09T21:13:55-05:00July 5th, 2020|Jonah, RV Life|

Today was our day to adventure through Salt Lake City. We made a few stops including Temple Square, before heading out to the lake for some incredible views! Initially the kids wanted to go swim and float in it. But after a bit of research we decided against it due to the smell, shrimp, bugs and bacteria. The views were definitely enough for us!
