These two melted my momma heart in to a pile of mush more than once today. Ty spent a good portion of the day soaking Jonah up as he’s heading out of town tomorrow until August. He secured a leadership position at the christian camp he attending last year that focuses on leading young men and teenagers in to Christlike manhood. I’m so excited for him and this opportunity. We are all going to miss him like crazy.

Water week continues around here. This is the cheapest water wall ever. Water bottles with holes cut in them screwed to an old piece of wood from our garage. Total win as it kept a certain toddler very busy.

It’s water week around here for homeschool. Out of everyone, Maggie loved the sprinkler slip-n-slide the most. She thinks she’s a people.

Every week I think “this week is my favorite”, but Robot week, wins, hand down! The best part of this week was watching my kids light up when I told them I bought a bunch of old appliances from Goodwill for them to disassemble and repurpose in to robots. An old VCR, an old clock radio, a remote control, a coffee pot and a old game controller, all for $20 and we harvested a ton of parts and pieces. Zoo week fell during a time that it was raining and flooding something fierce here in Texas. We were lucky enough to find *one* day out of ten where it was a low chance of rain. We booked our booties up to Waco on that one day and it held off! Then back home to more and more and more rain. Thankfully, we had lots of indoor zoo activities to keep us busy while stuck inside. Thank God for gluten free play doh!
