365: Boo boo check-in

I cannot pick one photo for today. I love them both. Zachary fell and Jonah was first on the scene to console and check the boo boo. With a slew of busy boys we get lots of skinned knees around these parts.

Mom tip: I keep a spray bottle of colloidal silver in my purse and hiking backpack. It is a great antiseptic that works to heal cuts, abrasions, and wounds. This post comes from a place of being a blogger for many years. I’ve been feeling….off….about my content and social media accounts for some time now. After our trauma almost 3 years ago, I all but left Facebook. It was so negative at a time I just couldn’t absorb negativity at all. I still have an account that I use to access groups, handle business related things for several businesses and I like to crowdsource travel ideas there. Otherwise, I am just not there that much. 365: Ever changing backyard

One of my most favorite things about living on the road is our ever changing backyard. Tossing dinner in the instant pot and heading out for a walk by the lake in our campground with two little boys who love to throw rocks. Always time well spent.

We were able to gift my mom a week long cabin stay through our Thousand Trails membership. We were able to park our RV right behind her cabin, it’s been a great week spending so much time with her. Tons of games played, long walks and help with the kids (so rare for us)! We all laughed when she landed in a cabin named Willie Nelson. She didn’t know that we named our truck Willie and our RV Nelson when we bought both 2 years ago!

365: New Years Eve Traditions

For the first time ever, all 4 of these kids made it to midnight to toast the new year (with sparkling lemonade). We had a NYE party at the cabin my mom is staying in next door. It was fun but a little chaotic. The dance party was my fave. I love our traditions. Welcome 2020!

Summer at the Beach in Wells Maine | Worst Clam Experience Ever

Follow along as we spend time at the beach in the cutest little towns including Wells, Ogunquit and Portland, Maine. We also decide to try lobster and clams. Taryn declared herself a vegan for a solid 2 days afterward and Lyndsay was totally grossed out by the clams. We also see several lighthouses and a whale! Summer in Maine is off to a beautiful start!
