About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! This week was about one of our favorite things: camping! Actually, it was more like 2 weeks since we ventured out for some real life experiences in a cabin on the Frio River. We always have a blast there and I took over 1,000 photos with my real camera (coming soon). Instead of our usual sensory bin, we opted this week to do camping scenes that we made out of paper and other manipulatives. One of my favorite families in the spring? Yes, please! I usually only get to see them in the fall so this was a treat for me! I love love that they added grandma in this time around too. We had so much fun with weather week that we stretched it out to last 2 weeks. We had a ton of stuff to learn and explore and it just wouldn’t fit in to one week. That’s one of my favorite things about learning at home, we can bend and adjust to what the kids are most interested in. We bought a rain gauge and use it all the time now.
