One of my most favorite things about living on the road is our ever changing backyard. Tossing dinner in the instant pot and heading out for a walk by the lake in our campground with two little boys who love to throw rocks. Always time well spent.
We were able to gift my mom a week long cabin stay through our Thousand Trails membership. We were able to park our RV right behind her cabin, it’s been a great week spending so much time with her. Tons of games played, long walks and help with the kids (so rare for us)! We all laughed when she landed in a cabin named Willie Nelson. She didn’t know that we named our truck Willie and our RV Nelson when we bought both 2 years ago!
Today we went hiking at the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center so the kids could go bird watching. Jude especially was so excited! He added 5 new species to his list today. And yes, my 15 year old Nikon D50 with an old 50 mm is still kicking. Jude uses it daily!
