Yesterday Joan described Jane as a total snuggle bug. I can definitely see it! I’ve been photographing these two since Joan was still in the womb 11 years ago! Gosh that is just crazy to me, time has flown by! It means the world to me that I get to capture them each year.
I photographed Dixon & Juno in 2017 and shared that they both passed away within months of their session. I was so sad for Christine and Chris. I’m so glad we did that session when we did! Months later I was so happy to see that Christine and Chris adopted two new boxer puppies, Skylar & Xander. While I wasn’t in Austin to capture them in their tiny cuteness, I was so excited to catch up with them on Saturday! This was so much fun – their home is filled with so much energy! Also, wrinkly dog foreheads are my new fave!
I am so excited to announce that we have committed to being in Austin again this fall! I really want to be here again this year and I am thrilled to share the dates now instead of waiting when everyone’s schedule is already packed full (mine and yours)! We will be in Austin for 3 weeks in November and I have a limited number of north and central sessions during that window. You can see the available spaces here. When he jumped out of the car in his sneakers, suspenders and heart shirt I immediately noticed how happy my little photog heart was! Swoon!

When Kelsey asked me for an in home lifestyle session I jumped at it! I haven’t done one in ages and it is so fun to get a glimpse of the real, messy, chaos of young families! We focused on all their favorite things, football, crafts, playing with your bff, jumping on the trampoline, the lemonade stand, a baking cook off competition and PJs and books at the end.
