My dear friend Michele of PinkleToes Photography was nice enough to not only pick up my mom from the airport and deliver her to our house and open arms when coming to meet Jonah, but she also brought her camera and took a few photos of me with Jonah. After only having one photo of me pregnant with Teagan Jude, I tried to do better this pregnancy. I didn’t break out the good camera to take belly pics, my iphone was just easier. They aren’t great pics, but they are good enough and document that I was in fact pregnant and growing! This pregnancy has been so different in so many ways. The biggest thing (outside of not being sick once instead of the entire 9 months) was not having a lot of weight gain. I gained 60 lbs with each of the other kids during pregnancy. 1. My girl turned 7. Crazy. I’ll blog about it soon since I finally took her out for her birthday photos.
2.After waiting and waiting and waiting some more…..my girl *finally* has her very first loose tooth!! This discovery lit up her face like the 4th of July. I can’t blame her, she’s stood back and watched all her friends and former classmates lose their teeth one by one. It is finally her turn! She’s mixed with 999 parts excitement, 1 part anxiety.
3. Overheard last week. Yeah, the definition of hot date has definitely changed.

Last night I went and spent some time capturing my dear friend Michele of Pinkle Toes Photography and her adorable family. They have spent the majority of their summer chillin’ and splashing in the pool and she wanted to capture it. Michele and Virgil, thanks for having me out, it was a total blast!
Boots, belly and curls?! Yes please! I love hanging out with this family. We channeled their last maternity session, just a little bit. The sweet baby boy in that bump was a dream to photograph, I can’t wait to come back and share their newborn session!
