full bloom
Just posting a few macros tonight as I’m crazy busy proofing sessions and working on the last edition of Ty’s school newsletter. My agapanthas are in full bloom….took these last week. Big thanks to Anna who helped me with some crop suggestions on these! My great big hydrangea in the front yard is almost in full bloom, I can’t wait!!! And for those who asked about the movie below….you should add the ice first, add some salt on top and then add the water, makes it super cold, super fast!! =)

Little Philip! He’s been gracing the cover of my brochures for 5 months now and I can’t tell you how many comments I’ve gotten from everyone who sees the cover image! We met at the park first thing this morning to document just how much fun being 18 months old really is =) I love this age, everything is new and wonderful in their world, and could he be any cuter?! I have had some big ideas running around in my mind for awhile now, and I am totally psyched that I managed to talk Philip and his family into taking part in it. at Ty’s new room. I love it already and so does he! After Katrina we just bought him some cheapo temporary furniture from walmart. Its been falling apart for awhile so it really was time to get him something new. So we took a chunk of our tax return, walked into Pottery Barn Kids and said "we want that room please"….It was fabulous, I have never done that before, so fun, and at PBK no less!!! But you know what? We don’t feel guilty AT ALL. Ty is a kid whose whole life was flipped upside down, he lost everything he owned, not once, but twice, by the time he was 8 years old. because all work and no play is no fun
I feel like I have been proofing non-stop for a week and still have 3 sessions calling my name! Ty was watching me proof after dinner (which he loves to do!) and we decided to have a little fun in photoshop. So, this is what Ty would look like if his face suddenly melted – LOL! Gotta love the liquify tool =) With every click of the mouse we laughed harder and harder until our bellies hurt! Oh….and a funny Ty story…. In Ty’s class they have a VIP of the week.
