puddle jumpin
Took the little one to the park today for lunch with my mom…..it was uber hot by the time we got there and full sun (her red face proves it too!). As we were leaving the sprinklers came on in the big grassy area. Taryn wouldn’t have anything to do with it. She’d want to run out there but once it started to hit her she’d run back and say "rain rain"……so she stuck to her little pitiful puddle =) I used the Nikon D50 for these because it’s smaller and easier to carry than the 5D. busted
3 times this week. Had enough. mop head I am seriously at a loss as to what to do with her hair. She won’t leave bows in and this inbetween stage is making me crazy. As tempted as I am to trim those bangs and get them out of her eyes, I think she’d look really cute with long bangs. Ideas? Sometimes I have the urge to post something because it makes me happy, and for no other reason. So if you stopped in to see some good technical photographs, sorry, this may not be the post =) But she does make me happy, very happy. Last week it stormed here, this tells me summer is coming, afternoon thunderstorms, like clockwork, visit us in the summertime. Well, our dog Kylie is a woosie. As the thunder rolled in I could hear her scratching at the back door so I told Taryn "let’s go get Kylie, she’s scared". Wroooooong thing to say! I finally got smart and taped it to my lens hood… uh oh…I don’t think I can resist this (could you?!?!) … might be time to pay up =) A couple of funnies…. Last night she managed to swipe Ty’s pencil off the table as he was doing his homework. When he snatched it out of her hand (even though we’ve asked him 50 times or more to ask her for things nicely to be a good example!) she scowled at him, stuck out that bottom lip and said "humph, you mean!".
