Day 105 | 365 Project

This kid. He has a lot of names. Taryn still calls him Teagan. The rest of us call him Jude or Duder. But Jonah has taken to calling him “Juder” and it is the cutest thing ever. I smile every single time I hear it.

Well, I’ve made it 2 months! I’m counting that as an accomplishment worth celebrating! Last month I posted all my favorite leftovers that didn’t make it in to the 365 and thought I’d do that for February too. Every day life, their memories. Lots of reading, a month visit from my mom, practicing music, lots of Bible study, Valentines Daddy Daughter Dance, Jude’s birthday, a new tetherball, even more reading, naps, lots of Legos, devotionals, Taryn is planning to write a book, lots of school work, and a field trip to Pioneer Farms. It was a good month.

We stayed in different cabins during this trip because our usual ones were booked up. It turned out to be a blessing because we had to drive down to the river and it was super easy access for my mom who had just had knee replacement surgery 2 weeks prior. My favorite thing was sitting on […]

Just a few snapshots from our trip to the pumpkin patch in October. We used to haul our crew all the way out to the fancy one over an hour away. And then the year Jonah was born we needed pumpkins last minute. Looking back at our first trip to this patch, the kids have grown and changed so very much. Man, time flies. Was that really 2 years ago?!
I got up later than usual this morning, spotted a beautiful day outside and my messy house inside, and told the children to get dressed in a hurry then report to the kitchen to help fix a picnic lunch. It was in the 60’s, cool, clear, pretty and the weather is supposed to be yuck the rest of the week. I’m tired of being inside, cooped up, cleaning only for another mess to pop up seconds later. Ty needed to get out too, he’s not used to staying home so much. Only a few more weeks until he can shed the sling and drive again post-op. So, we fixed our picnic lunch […]
