He stood in this spot looking out for a good long while. I finally got up and grabbed my camera to snap a few. Once I got close I asked him, “Z what do you see?”

I was bummed when we arrived in Dallas to see our view of the lake was obstructed by trees. Then last night when the sun set it was more beautiful through the trees…and I was so thankful for them.
Our financial struggles meant a lot of sacrifice in 2019. One of those being chiropractic care. It was a really hard thing for us to give up since when we were in a sticks and bricks home we went weekly! We went over 4 months without adjustments, our longest stretch ever. The kids have been begging to go and we were finally, FINALLY, able to make it happen. Bring on happier kids and better sleep! New job means the freedom for new adventures! This crew is back and ready! We are excited for all the 2020 adventures ahead, I’ve already jumped in to planning. We haven’t been out on many adventures the last 4 months. We are SO excited to get back out there again. First up, hiking at Dinosaur Valley State Park!
We decided to head up to Dinosaur Valley State Park for the boys birthdays this week. First things first, we had to stop and “RAWR” at the dinosaur statues from the Worlds Fair before setting up camp!
His perch is quite possibly the most inconvenient, high traffic, spot to sit and play in our 420 square feet. But he’s so cute sitting here playing with all his random favorites. Today he carried them around in his hiking backpack and took them out here to inspect, play and imagine for a good 45 minutes. Notice the TWO Buzz Lightyears and the random garlic peeler lol!
