Sleeping in unexpected places, airplanes and pumpkin picking! Most people go to Fredericksburg for the wine and charm but when we had to re-route due to flooding, we saw a different side of this cute little town!

Our first time balloon fiesta, our first fulltime families rally and our first extended boondocking experience – ALL AT THE SAME TIME. We learned a lot and thought it would be fun to share some tips and tricks that would have been helpful to us as rookies.

SO MUCH FUN! Going to the Balloon Fiesta kinda blew him away! Zachary LOVES balls and we kinda had a hunch that he’d think the balloons were balls! Let’s just say his little pointer finger got a workout. I had so much footage of him pointing that I just had to do a compilation video – he cracks me up! For weeks, every time he’d look out the RV window, he’d point and ask about the balloons! We loved watching him and experiencing the fiesta through his excitement.

INCREDIBLE! Have you ever had a hot air balloon land at your front door?!?! We still can’t believe this happened! Follow along as we experience the fiesta up close when visitors just “drop in”! We also venture over to the launch pad for the special shapes glowdeo. It’s an experience like no other!

We lucked in to some last minute tickets to the Fulltime Families Fiesta Rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico! And it was a huge adventure for us! So much so that we need more than one video to share it all! It was our first time boondocking for more than just a few days, our first fulltime families rally and our first fiesta!
