Day 193 | 365 Project

Who knew San Antonio to Austin traffic was bumper to bumper on a Sunday night? Blah.

I am sad to say that Jason’s grandfather, John, has passed away at the age of 91. He had a beautiful, long life and we are so thankful to have had so much time with him. Yet, somehow, it still doesn’t feel like enough. Please pray for Jason’s grandmother, they have been married for 70 years. What wonderful examples of love we have in them. I will be closed for the next couple of days and out of the office to take time to mourn this tremendous loss with our family. I’ll likely return emails and voicemails on Wednesday. Thanks for your patience.

This is one of my favorite photos. It’s old, taken […]

This little boy skipped nap today and took an early bath. Don’t you know the sprinkler system popped on right after he got out of the tub. He and I had to convince his daddy to let him go out and play in it for a few minutes even though he was already clean. Extra rinse cycle, Dad! Totally worth it.

Love.

My inlaws have been saving and sending the comics to the kids in the mail. They figured out the kids love comics during our last visit to Corpus. It makes these two so happy and they dive right in when the package arrives.

Today is my mom’s 65th birthday! She’s the best. She chose to spend our day having a picnic at the splash pad and then a bbq for dinner. Happy birthday, Gee!
