We had a hunch Bob was lonely, he’s been quiet, and just pretty out of sorts for our normally spirited little elf friend. This morning confirms it. We found Bob on my desk. He misses his old buddy Twink and he reached out to him.
You know Bob, I’m totally cool with you borrowing my new computer, but we have a new rule in this house, NO STARBUCKS while surfing the web dude!
Bob’s been a fairly well behaved elf the last few nights. This morning he was just hanging out on the ceiling fan cord. Teagan thought is was hilarious and kept saying “oooohhh Bob!!”
Personally, I think Bob is bored and wants Twink to come out and play 😉
I love in home sessions. Yes, Austin is an amazing city with tons of wonderful locations with character and color and texture to choose from. Even so, there is still something about visiting a family in their space, where they live and love. Where they have memories wrapped into every room, around every corner. Where you brought your baby home to, where you became a family, where you paced the halls with a newborn and gushed over that first smile, crawl or first step. A lot has changed in a year. Not long after this session, they discovered a new family member was on the way. A little boy named Tommy. And then they discovered they would be battling cancer. Stage 3 colon cancer. Jon finished his last chemo treatment this week (yay!!!!)! It was a big year filled with blessings and courage and faith and strength….
Jack is now 2! And he likes me. I like him. And he likes to have his picture taken. Well sorta….
