Jackson Hole
Started our evening of adventure by driving over to Jackson Hole for some picnic provisions. We stopped at the town square for a photo at the antler arches – I really regretted not stopping the last time we came through.
Boondocking in the wild
We arrived at our first “wild” (aka not Walmart or Harvest Host, etc) boondocking spot tonight. The dogs immediately loved it and ran right toward the water. I could hear them thinking “freeeeeeeedom”!!! Ha! They proceeded to scratch their backs rolling around in the grass for a good 5 minutes each. It’s a good day to be a fulltime traveling doggo!

We survived our first night in the wild boondocking. It wasn’t easy getting to our spot and nerves were definitely on edge. Let’s just say words were exchanged between husband and wife. 🤣 RV friends, have you ever had to say “Sorry for the things I said while backing up the camper”??
How hard I’ve failed
One of the hardest parts of PPD is feeling incapable. Learning something new? Feels impossible. That’s like torture for a creative. Being unable and paralyzed when it comes to trying something new. Since we launched in to fulltime travel almost 3 years ago, I’ve tried to learn night photography probably 6 times. Jason would see the struggle and help each and every time. I just couldn’t do it. Bear Lake Idaho
Idaho might just be America’s best kept secret. Goodness it’s gorgeous here. Not a single potato in sight 🤣 Have you been to Idaho? Did it surprise you?
We love it here
We love it here. A lot. We have a very short list of places we’d like to build a small cabin to use as a home base someday. We added Midway to the list, it drew us in so quickly. There’s a Swiss influence here that is so very charming. It checks off a lot of our wishes on the list and we are so glad we stopped here. We will be sad to say goodbye when we head to Idaho this weekend.
