Sweet Savannah’s gorgeous momma is an interior designer and I have to admit, walking in to their home and a dining room filled to the brim with prop options, was like a photographer dream come true. Miss Savannah is a girl who knows what she likes, the swaddle! She was awfully good to us on this day and I’m so thrilled her parents are in love with their photos. And I get to photograph her soon to arrive cousin here shortly, can’t wait!
Ah, the end of a year of memories for one of my absolute favorite families ever, so bittersweet. What I love about them is that they show up and they are so real. I’m months behind in blogging and bound and determined to catch up. This little beauty was such a joy and I loved seeing how amazing and sweet her big brother is with her. They reminded me of Ty and Taryn as there was just an instant, powerful and visible sibling connection. I hope to work with them again because I left with a huge smile on my face and full heart just being around them.

1. Summer if off to a great start already! I’m loving spending so much time with my kids!! Yes, after last year, we needed a healthy start to summer and we’ve had just that. So very thankful.
2. We had one week of no carpool, no transporting kids everywhere and then this week football camp started so we’re back it. I love it though. Busy!

Sigh….my *baby* is 14. I’m so proud of the person he is. And yes, for the record, he’s taller than I am. And no, I don’t want to talk about it. Oh, and let me introduce you to Shelby! Shelby is Ty’s best girl and our family absolutely adores her. She’s a delight to have around, loves the little kids and never fails to make Ty laugh, we love her! I asked her to come along on the one photo shoot per year that I force Ty in to. I knew she could help me get him to relax for the camera and make him laugh.
