Bed time stories with the Gee.
ps – Those toes though.
Y’all. I’ve been in business for over 9 years now. And I can easily say this sweet thing is, by far, the happiest kiddo I have *ever* photographed. Happy just doesn’t describe it. She smiles WITH HER WHOLE BODY. It’s all kinds of awesome. All of her muscles move with joy when she smiles and when she laughs, forget about it, you’ll laugh too. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever experience in my career as a professional photographer. I usually walk in to a session wanting my client to have a good time and experience at their session, but this time, this session, the shoe was on the other foot. SO. MUCH. FUN. YALL. She makes me want […]

I first met this family when they were expecting James and their maternity/newborn photos from that time are still some of my faves. So much has changed since then, they moved and are expecting another baby, all in a short period of time. I remember running in to Michelle at a homeschool park day and she she shared she was pregnant again. I was so excited for them!! Wait until you meet Opal, she’s just precious.

We had a fancy family dinner tonight to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I finally got to use my new crystal goblets that are just like my grandmothers. Jonah was so tickled he got to use one too. And my baby boy loves to cheers his kombucha.
I was so lucky in 2014 to connect with so many wonderful families. I didn’t blog mini sessions in 2014, mostly due to time constraints on my end, but I just couldn’t file some of these purchased images away without sharing them first. Some of my favorites families doing what they do best, loving each other!!

Another night just chillin on the porch next door at my mom’s house. We had dinner around the fire pit and relaxed after a very, very long day. My kids chewed me up and spit me out today. Homeschool was a nightmare today. Jonah fell. I dropped a mason jar full of water and it shattered. I tipped over an entire sensory bin of small parts on the floor. I spilled Ty’s supplements. Full moon? Friday the 13th? Something….because when I sent Jase a text that said WTF UNIVERSE?! he laughed out loud. Until he got home and then he was all WTF UNIVERSE. Ha.
