Day 62 | 365 Project

62

A few minutes before we were supposed to leave for the chiropractor Ms. T decided to do some painting.  She used water colors and a blotting technique.  This is her thing, her element.  She ended up gifting it to our chiropractor.  If you are a patient of Backbone in Cedar Park, you can see it on display at the front desk!  Click over to instagram to see the final piece.  Now to convince her to paint one for me, I want one just like it for my spring mantel.

I just adore Colleen, Luke and the boys!  I’ve been photographing them for quite a few years now and it’s always fun!  They have an energy they bring to the session that always means laughter and fun captures.  I’ll never tell which one tooted and caused the biggest smiles lol!  I’m exciting that for 2015 they chose a spring session – it’ll be a fun change of pace this year for sure.  And it means I get to see them soon!

february 365 project leftovers | 365 Project

Well, I’ve made it 2 months!  I’m counting that as an accomplishment worth celebrating!  Last month I posted all my favorite leftovers that didn’t make it in to the 365 and thought I’d do that for February too.  Every day life, their memories.  Lots of reading, a month visit from my mom, practicing music, lots of Bible study, Valentines Daddy Daughter Dance, Jude’s birthday, a new tetherball, even more reading, naps, lots of Legos, devotionals, Taryn is planning to write a book, lots of school work, and a field trip to Pioneer Farms.  It was a good month.

Day 59 | 365 Project

59

Last school year Taryn struggled with creative writing.  Don’t you know the very day our school year ended she cut up a bunch of blank pages and wrote her first chapter book.  Privately, I wanted to throw my arms up in the air and say “Really?!”  She wasn’t loving the method during the year and once she was free to just do her thing, she loved it.  And thrived.  Instead of throwing up my arms I was just happy to see her figuring it out her way.  And she has multiple, wonderful, books she wrote on her break.  We are encouraging her to publish the first one on blurb (and maybe even […]
