About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The kids and I decided to take the last few weeks of our homeschool year on the road.  We’re in the home stretch and if we have to do school – why not do it with our toes in the sand.  Sixteen days at the beach?  Yes, please!  We have been staying at my mom’s house in Orange Beach, Alabama.  And it was the perfect opportunity to take Taryn’s 10th birthday photos.  At the last minute I decided to let the two little boys crash her session and I’m SO glad I did.  Ty couldn’t join us because he’s in a cast and he didn’t want to get sand in it.  Sand and casts do not mix.  I’m kind of […]

It looks so beautiful and serene right?  Don’t believe it.  I wasn’t feeling well but we hit the beach anyway.  For my efforts I was rewarded with a moody 10 year old who glared at everyone, a 7 year old who threw a fit and melted down and a 2 year old who threw sand at everyone 8,000.

ps – this was shot with my Samsung NX300, which I love.  I just didn’t feel well enough to take my big girl camera.
