We bought some new furniture for our back porch and freshened it up a bit. It’s now become Jude’s favorite spot. He will sit and rock and read and enjoy our view for hours a time. It’s his new spot.

They fight so much that I savor the moments I see them like this. They sat out on the porch, chatting, reading, laughing, for over an hour tonight. I’d like to think that someday, when they are old and grey, they will do this very thing all over again.
