Today is my mom’s 65th birthday! She’s the best. She chose to spend our day having a picnic at the splash pad and then a bbq for dinner. Happy birthday, Gee!

This big kid is officially potty trained. The last thing to conquer was naptime and over night and he’s been doing great. No more cloth diapers… bye bye cute fluffy butt.

Having Heather here for my 40th birthday today was such a blessing. My kids accepted her and just expected her to jump on in to all of our chaos. Someone new to play with for 5 days?! Sweet! It was amazing to watch them all get to know each other. And……the big 40. I’ve decided not to fret or wallow in the number but instead remind myself that it’s a privilege denied to many.
