I am sad to say that Jason’s grandfather, John, has passed away at the age of 91. He had a beautiful, long life and we are so thankful to have had so much time with him. Yet, somehow, it still doesn’t feel like enough. Please pray for Jason’s grandmother, they have been married for 70 years. What wonderful examples of love we have in them. I will be closed for the next couple of days and out of the office to take time to mourn this tremendous loss with our family. I’ll likely return emails and voicemails on Wednesday.  Thanks for your patience.

This is one of my favorite photos.  It’s old, taken our first Christmas in Texas.  Taryn was around Jonah’s age and Jude was just a baby.  I love the connection, the love.  This family that I married in to, they have a lot of that.  I love the way Great Grandma has her arm around Great Grandpa.  And how he has his arm on Gary’s back.  And, my father-in-laws Christmas in Texas outfit makes me laugh.  I remember during this holiday that the Greats would hold hands and sit on the couch talking like two teenagers in love.  We’ve been so blessed to have them as a loving example.  Great grandpa will be deeply missed by all of us.
