We normally put Teagan in his bouncer while we have dinner but last night I was sitting at the dinner table eating and holding Teagun. Taryn looked over at me and said "Mommy, are you going to put him away?" hehehe….it took us a minute to figure out what she meant! And later on when Teagan was crying she said "bring him the boppy, it make him feel better"….LOL! I guess that would make sense since most of the time he is crying its because he wants to be fed and that includes the boppy. She’s still adjusting to having a newborn in the house, it’s been harder than we thought it would be. I think because Jason and I both feel pretty bad for Taryn and guilty. It’s so much different than when we had her, because Ty was old enough to understand. We were both grateful to hear her say "I love you Teagan" at bedtime last night though.
And a quick pic from yesterday….
We’re off to have his billirubin numbers checked again today. We’re hoping they’ve gone down and won’t require hospitalization. We’re told home light therapy is difficult to find around here, which surprised us given the excellent quality of health care in Austin.
oh my … the pictures just get cuter and cuter Lyndsay!
SO CUTE! Good luck with the billirubin. Avery had high numbers for about 2 weeks. We had to put her on a billi blanket every night for a week, but it got better. And honestly, if they want to admit him, the hospital lights work MUCH faster, so there’s a positive side to it too. Hang in there!
Sweet pictures Lyndsay! My, you’ve been a busy photographer moomy. 😉
I hope that Teagun’s bilirubin levels go down. When Kasey was born, we had to get her levels checked almost everyday for a week and ended up having to do the light treatment at home. Let me tell you, it just breaks your heart having to have your newborn get poked everyday for a week. Not a very nice welcome to the world. Fingers are crossed for you guys that Teagun doesn’t have to go through that!
Lyndsay…what great photos of your newest little one. You probably don’t know me from the board, but I admire your photography, and now even more b/c you are doing such AMAZING work with a NEW BABY!!! Wow. I’m amazed. You are a true photographer, and these are really great shots. I love the one on the bear chair. So cute! Little T is a lucky kid to have such a talented momma!
