My friend and mentee MC is participating in Team in Training and we came up with a fun and easy way to raise some money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a very worthy cause. Cancer touched our family this year, Jason’s dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The word cancer is scary, and when it finds it’s way into your family, it changes things in an instant. We’re so lucky and thankful that Jason’s dad was able to beat it, is healthy and strong today, without facing chemo.  There are so many people out there fighting cancer, and every single penny counts.

As a way to help raise money, MC hosted a halloween costume party and I donated my photography services. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended and so generously donated! It was a wonderful success and lots of fun! Here are a couple of the cute kiddos who came to play….first up, MC’s little monkey….he thought I was pretty funny!

quite possibly the cutest little lady bug in all of Austin….

rooooooooooaaaaarrrrrr!

these two are making their second appearance here on the blog, mini session clients (and he graces the front page of my website)!  I so want J to be Taryn’s bud and his mom tells me that while I was working, he and T were hanging out in the air jump thingy.

oh.my.word.  i can’t even take in all this cuteness.  mom sat him down, he looked at me just like this and smiled big.  dream baby.  so, so happy.

TOUCHDOWN!!

and look how big ms. calla is!  and she’s quick too, i could barely catch her….

never fear, mr. incredible is here!  and just in case you can’t tell, the fists are him flexing LOL!

the little mermaid and her octopus sidekick.  i’m totally amazed that her mom MADE the mermaid costume!  it’s seriously gorgeous, i’m impressed!

made me giggle….

The entire Stradtner clan was there but I decided to spare my own children the torture of being photographed.  We had a great time, I think it’s safe to say that MC throws a great party!!  I love doing charity work, it sure does feel good!
