Hi all! Sorry for the lack of posts, it must seem like I disappeared! We have been away in Austin, Texas for 4 days. We had a great trip, had a good visit with family, met some great people, a few cute kiddos and took a lot of photographs. The photo above is one Ty took at Lake Travis with the D50. We had dinner out there, bad food, bad service but we got a killer view!

Good news, we came home to be greeted by our first grant disbursement. We can breathe now. What a relief. 18 long, long months of speculation and waiting. The relief is overwhelming. Our second disbursement coming soon will enable us to start with some major projects around here. The first order of business is to hire a contractor, we’re done with the DIY. Finally.

I still don’t have my laptop back yet due to a delay of parts because of Mardi Gras (apparently fedex won’t deliver during a parade – jeesh). Hopefully by the end of the week though. I’m so far behind in proofing client images it’s not even funny.
