12! Can you believe it?! I cannot. He is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He’s kind and filled with empathy. He’s like a sponge absorbing everything around him. He teaches me at least one new thing every single day. Sometimes I wonder who is teaching who in this whole homeschool / roadschool thing. I’ve decided that means Jason and I have done a good job since he has learned how to learn….isn’t that the whole point?! To ignite a love and lifetime of learning? That’s Jude, he loves learning, research and knowing lots of things! If one of us can’t figure something out, he jumps in, Jude is a problem solver. He is one of the very best people I know. A few fun things about Jude, he loves to dance spontaneously, he’s an avid bird fan, loves hugs and red beans and rice, and he can never (like ever) find his shoes. For those that don’t know, there was a time when Jude was a very sick little boy and it never fails to amaze me that he’s here, healthy and strong. We always marvel over that when his birthday comes around. We are so thankful and blessed that he’s a part of our family!
