Meet Ross, Emery and Julianne. LOVE their names and all three are just as cute as can be. And very, very cooperative. Usually photographing three children in this age range can take several hours, but not these troopers! Just over an hour for individuals of all three kids, kid groups shots, full family photos, just the girls, just the guys and a bunch of just the baby…..wow! I can’t believe it, but Addison is 1! My first session with Addison was when she was 3 months old, where has the time gone? My business was brand new back then and Addison was the first 3 month old I photographed. This is my favorite part of my job, getting to watch the children I photograph grow up. And grow she has, seems like just yesterday she was all curled up on the blue chair…. And today, looking so grown up and beautiful… From her mommy’s pearls to a tiara to pretty pink dresses, we tried it all….but I must add that she was not quite this ladylike all day long. Only the single most famous baby on the nest! I think little Jayden was the most anticipated baby ever! He was sooooo good today for his 3 month session and I can’t believe how big (and how strong) he is! If you don’t know who Jayden is, you can read his parents inspirational story here and you can read about him and see his newborn pictures here, here and here. Being around him, I can still sense what a miracle he is. It’s such an amazing thing to see how totally in love his Mommy and Daddy are with him. This look says “Mommy, go away”….and in her tutu and bathing suit no less. She dressed herself. Well, she brought me the bathing suit from her room, and then about 30 minutes later starting banging on the door to our extra bedroom where I keep all my props, “tututututututu”. Granted, this is the 4th outfit she requested before noon. Is there anything better than watching Teletubbies in a tutu though? Yeah, if your mommy would just get that camera out of your face so you could enjoy it in peace! Jeesh!! Oh and I have to add that I used the speedlight for this shot in my living room.
