A few old favorites of Taryn that I’m posting for my mom.  She’s getting these on 8×8 canvas, doesn’t Taryn look tiny?  These were shot about a year ago… Thanks for all your advice, I think I’ll just have to print both pics of Ty below, I love both the color and black and white!

Can’t decide which one I like better, the black and white or the color version.  What do you guys think? Our house has been a busy, busy place!  Lots of house progress going on.  Our new fireplace tile surround and mantel is being built.  As well as the new shelves where the medicine cabinets used to be in both of the bathrooms.  So exciting to see stuff getting done!

First, the hotel’s shuttle bus.  Every time we went into or out of the hotel she’d yell "LELLO CHOO CHOO TRAIN" (translated – yellow choo choo train).  And without fail one of use would say, "no, it’s a blue bus".  And she would say "A bue bus?!?!?"  It became her thing that she teased us with by day 6 – so cute.  She knew it was a blue bus, but she just wanted to hear us say it and she’d sound so surprised every time and just giggle.  I had to take a picture of it 🙂 Are elevators a source of enjoyment […]

Sorry, I’m a few days behind.  =) We finally made it to the plantation and it was worth the wait.  We were thinking it would maybe be a couple hour thing but it could have been an all day thing.  We did the house tour but they wouldn’t let me take pics, said the flash hurts the furniture.  So just outdoor / grounds pics.  We also took the kids on the train around the grounds.  Here are a few favorites… Taryn thought the peacocks were chickens.     Jason took this one hehe…just too much going and not enough napping. Leaving the plantation we passed the cemetary where one of the fallen 9 firefighters was being laid to rest.  There […]
